Based in the Central suburbs of Mumbai, I live with my mother and husband. I was a media professional for 16 years but my love for food, travel and fashion made me quit my job and started writing about my passion. Growing up, I learnt about Gujarati food while watching my mother cook. It was our special bonding time along with cooking and learning a lot about our regional cuisine. I believe in using only fresh seasonal vegetables for my cooking and our cuisine is all about that.This winter, we are making the Gujarati classic, Undhiyu, made from fresh winter vegetables. Along with this, I will be preparing Gajar ka Halwa made with fresh red carrots only found in winter. The meal will be served in the traditional manner on a steel thali and you can make yourself comfortable at our dining table to enjoy this feast.
