Awadhi cuisine is native to Lucknow. The cuisine is influenced by Mughal cooking techniques, which lends it richness in aroma, ingredients, texture and taste. The art of slow fire cooking and dum style of cooking was invented in Lucknow, which is a testimony of the food on offer. This is a cuisine which is best when experiences than being explained through words. Simi offers a menu which is freshly prepared using hand-picked ingredients and combinations promising to take you back into history. Upon arrival: Before you indulge in the feast to follow, you will learn to how to make some succulent and delicious kebabs. You will be guided on how to make stuffed mutton balls, post which you will join to see how they are fried while ensuring they don't break open. A fun twist: A tray full of Indian spices and herbs will be put in front of the diners. The idea is to guess as many names of spices and herbs correctly and to understand their use in Indian cooking. Before session ends: Why not walk away with a paan made by you!
