Learn how to prepare some amazing Andhra dishes at the 'cook n dine' experience which will be followed by an authentic meal, at my home in Tirupati.

I developed love for cooking by observing my mother's and great grandmother’s cooking techniques when I was young. Reminiscing the warm memories when I visited the US, my son's American friends complemented me on my cooking! People lovingly call us Bhojana Priyulu (food lovers) as the conversations in our family always revolve around food.
This cook and dine experience will be held at my bungalow in Varadaraja Nagar, Tirupati. This home-based cooking class will be followed by a mouth-watering Andhra meal. The experience will begin with a welcome drink and after that, its time to roll up your sleeves and head towards the kitchen. I will guide you on how to make uddi vada (freshly made with lentils soaked and ground with onions, green chillies and deep fried) and Payasam (Semolina and sabudana cooked in milk and mixed nuts topped). We will be using all the masalas prepared by me from scratch. Once done, we will move to the dining area and enjoy a meal. After the meal, you can relax in our beautiful garden which is full of mango trees, coconut trees, sapota (Chiku) trees and banana trees. These trees make our home look wonderful and peaceful.
The entire experience will last for about 2-3 hours.
Please Note - This is not a professional cooking class but rather an opportunity to cook and dine with a local home-chef. The experience will be as much about the stories around the food and local culture, as it would be about the meal itself.
