Come and learn about a cuisine which is blessed with age-old recipes at this unique 'Cook n Dine' experience with home-chef Mamta in Mumbai.

Popularly known as the Land of Kings, Rajasthan is well-known for its culture and royalty. The richness of culture is reflected in its cuisine whose flavours can be underlined in bold as rich and regal. Rajasthani cuisine has an array of dishes ranging from spicy starters, lip-smacking sabjis and crispy bread along with chutneys, pickles, and papad. And yes, how can I forget the rich crunchy desserts.
But have you tasted the Rajasthani food? And I am not speaking of the one they serve at the restaurants. The taste of food cooked at the homes is very different from a restaurant. Join me for a cooking class at my home in Mumbai. Once you arrive, I will speak to you about Indian culture, its cuisine and how Rajasthan fits into the larger culinary canvas. After you are all set and ready, we will move towards the kitchen, where I will be teaching you how to prepare the authentic Lasuni Gatte (gram flour dumplings in rich creamy curd gravy and seasoned with garlic ghee and mustard seeds) and Gatte ka Pulav (rich rice preparation with spices, cashew, raisins, gram flour dumplings among other things!). You can also ask me questions about the usage of spices, our culture, a lot more about Rajasthan.
Post the cooking class, you will relish the dishes that we prepare along with some more dishes that I would have cooked.
The entire experience will last for about 2-3 hours.
Please Note - This is not a professional cooking class but rather an opportunity to cook and dine with a local home-chef. The experience will be as much about the stories around the food and local culture, as it would be about the meal itself.
