This is a meal of the royal kingdom of Mysore in Karnataka. Our host Jayashree hails from this region and loves to educate people about the Mysore way of life. Savour the authentic flavours of Mysore by dining in the traditional way. Our home-chef Jayashree will speak to you about the culture and the history of Mysore while you relish her family recipes.
This experience will start with you Jayashree at her beautiful home in Uttarahalli, Subramanyapura Post, Bengaluru. She will greet with you a smile and welcome you home! The experience will start with a welcome drink. And then she will invite you to the kitchen and teach you how to make the panaka (an Indian drink made with jaggery and spices) and Bale Kayi Palya which is raw banana cooked with ginger, garlic and green chillies! During this class, feel free to speak to Jayashree about the spices she use, how Mysore cooking is different, history of Mysore! This is definitely an experience you would want to be a part of.
The whole experience can last for about 2-3 hours.
