Ahmedabad is a city full of life, colour and lots of food. The people of Ahmedabad are known to be big-hearted and loving people. Their love of food can be seen with the number of food parks they have in the city. But relishing a traditional meal with a local family is a total different experience. Getting to enter a local home, meet the family, cook with them and enjoy a meal with them at their dining table.Based in Ahmedabad city, my home is where I do host a lot of parties, get-togethers, etc. An outgoing, funloving personality, who likes to mingle with people and create a lasting impression, that's the way my friends and family describe me. I am known for hosting surprise parties, get-togethers and make everyone comfortable during these meetups. I like to travel, explore new place and meet new people. I make an effort to familiarise myself with new customs and cultures where ever I travel. I am passionate about cooking as it helps me express my true self and give a long lasting experience. Cherishing amazing memories and experiences are my self preserved treasures and I would love to increase these experiences as much as I can.For this experience, you can join me in the kitchen to learn and cook all about Gujarati food. I shall introduce you to the local spices, vegetables and lentil that we use in our everyday cooking. You can learn to make your own dough for Roti/Thepla ( wheat based Indian flatbread) and learn to roll and fry them as well. You must know how Gujarati's love their Dal (A lentil based curry). I shall show you the ingredients and we shall learn making that as well. br> After a fun and interactive cooking class make yourself comfortable at the dining table where I shall serve you a home cooked family meal. The entire experience can last for about 2-3 hours. br>Please Note - This is not a professional cooking class but rather an opportunity to cook and dine with a local home-chef. The experience will be as much about the stories around the food and local culture, as it would be about the meal itself.
