Home-chef Sandhya will host you to a memorable meal coupled with cooking class of few Goan Saraswat trademark dishes!

Sandhya is a Goan to the core. Having lived all her life in Goa, she knows the nuances that define Goan cuisine. She has been cooking since she was 10 years old being tutored by her elders in the subtle art that is Goan Saraswat cuisine. Mind you, Goan Saraswat cuisine is different from what is typically known to travelers visiting this paradise.
The experience will commence with you meeting Sandhya and her family at her home in heart of Goa. She will then speak to you about the Saraswat culture and cuisine.
After that it is time to enter her kitchen and move into the 'masterchef' frame of mind. You will get to make her favourite fish fry and the mackerel as a part of your non-veg meal. If you have selected a vegetarian meal, then learn how to make 'Fodi', which is a crispy snack made from bread fruit rolled in rice flour and spices and learn how to make a sauteed vegetable dish.
Please note - This is not a professional cooking class but rather an opportunity to cook and dine with a local home-chef. The experience will be as much about the stories around the food and local culture, as it would be about the meal itself. Please Note - The menu may change subject to the availability of fish in the region.
