From the land of royal Nawabs, the food of Awadh is relished across the country. Influenced by Mughal cooking techniques and royal homes, Awadhi food has its own place among the array of dishes in India. Known for its unmatched culinary heritage, Lucknow offers an array of kebab, biryani, parathas, desserts, street food, kulfi, pan, and a lot more. Besides Awadhi food, I love exploring new cuisines, new recipes, and food from various parts of India.
My mother's food has inspired me the most - the void of not getting her kind of food has made me delve into cooking much more just to make sure that I can get a similar taste like hers. Before you delight in the feast, you will learn to how to make some delicious Chicken Tangri (Dry tandoori chicken legs spiced up with Indian spices and yogurt) and Tandoori Potato (Shallow fried potatoes with a hint of curd and spices).
The entire meal experience will last for 2-3 hours.
Please note - This is not a professional cooking class but rather an opportunity to cook and dine with a local home-chef. The experience will be as much about the stories around the food and local culture, as it would be about the meal itself.
