I am a Kashmiri Pandit, a community that hails from the valley of the Kashmir region whereas Arundhati belongs to West Bengal. Growing up, we were constantly surrounded by food and conversations about food! Watching our mothers and grandmothers cook has given us an inherent desire for feeding only good food. Through Authenticook, we endeavour to give you a glimpse of Kashmiri cuisine which will surely take you back to Jammu and Kashmir.
The beautiful state of Jammu and Kashmir is not only famous for its beauty and serenity but also offers a wide range of mouth-watering delicacies. The cuisine is mild in taste and rich in flavour with the extensive use of spices like cardamom, fennel, cinnamon, cloves, and saffron. Get ready to indulge in some of the authentic Kashmiri delicacies including Mutton Rogan Josh, Chicken Kanti, and much more at our home in Vasant Kunj, Delhi.
