Having grown up in Chennai, surrounded by some of the choicest traditional Tamil cuisine, I am an HR professional turned Food Consultant and home chef. Using traditional recipes passed down from my grandmother, I endeavour to bring a little bit of Chennai to the plates and hearts of my guests. I am back in Mumbai after 8 years after having contributed to the design and setting up of an experiential restaurant in Chennai.
Very welcoming and friendly host (and family). Great combination of cooking and dining/tasting food incl. explaining ingredients and techniques and doing some cooking myself. I was a little jet-lagged and shy and the host and her friend really made the evening a hugely enjoyable experience. Also gave me some tips on places to go in Mumbai & Goa, and where to buy / what to look for in a dosa pan! Highly recommended!
