Hailing from the North Eastern state of Assam, Rajneeta had embarked on a gastronomic journey full of adventures since a tender age. She developed an interest in cooking traditional Assamese cuisines over the years. Rajneeta, ever adventurous on matters culinary, started her quest to discover the cooking secrets from veteran cooks in Digboi, who served during the British Raj. She has earned wide reputation in creating some sumptuous non-vegetarian dishes, most notably duck, mutton, pork and chicken preparation in variegated styles each with its own distinctive ethnic and regional aura, taste and flavour. She showcased her culinary skills in various cooking competitions and won many prizes for her dishes varying from desserts, cakes to main dishes. She was always on call of duty whenever big parties were to be organised in the family and community during Bihu festivals and special occasions. As for Assamese cuisines despite its singular traits and taste have not made widespread name in mainstream India. Rajneeta has aimed at making the Assamese dishes popular in the wider arena with her culinary skills - by showcasing wide variety of unique Assamese cuisines through her new venture - Rinku's Kitchen.
