I am Latha, home maker and a mother of two. Me and husband are from Chennai where my husband works with an MNC. My culinary journey started way back in 1988 when I was in my teens. It started with me helping my mother cook and later on noting down recipes from tv shows (I am takling about an era before cable TV when there was only Doordarshan Hindi), asking my relatives, checking with the elders for their secret home recipes, etc. I hold a Masters Degree in Commerce and have completed my post graduation. I took a break to look after and support my family. This phase helped me explore new cuisines from different places that I had the opportunity of traveling to. Thus my kitchen, I would say is not restricted to only the Tamil Brahmin style of cooking but extends to other cuisines like Andhra, Karnataka and Kerala as well. Now I want to showcase to the world my cooking skills by way of hosting a meal at my home.
