Joyee and Priyangi have known each other for 12 years. Born and brought up in Assam, they moved to Mumbai to pursue their graduation and consequently started working here. They always missed homemade Assamese food and wondered why their ethnic cuisine was not available here. The desire and the craving to introduce Assamese food in Mumbai is how O'Tenga (An Assamese home kitchen) was born. Joyee is a former HR professional who quit her full time job to travel with her husband. She has always been curious about food and loves to experiment in the kitchen, as well as try out region-special cuisines. Priyangi is a film professional and a self-confessed foodie. She follows her passion for food and according to her husband, “she cooks up quite a storm in the kitchen”
